Welcome to the 2017-2018 academic year! We are pleased to offer our once-a-year scholarships (for both fall and spring semesters) to all eligible hospitality business students. To be eligible you must:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree in hospitality business (4-year program)
  • Be a hospitality business major and remain as such for the academic year
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Have hospitality industry work experience
  • Be an active member of at least one Hospitality Business student organization
    • An Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center (Lincoln Room).  This Open House provides an opportunity to learn about each of the Hospitality Business student organizations.

There are three different types of scholarships available:

The Scholarship Application Form (link below) must be completed to be considered for any scholarships listed within the first two scholarship categories (#1 and #2).  Note on page five you can indicate specific scholarships which you are interested in receiving.  Should the Scholarship Committee determine you have met the criteria for those specific scholarships, they will select or nominate you as such.  For scholarships listed within the last category (#3), you must review the criteria and apply on your own.

Please submit your scholarship application form and all required documents listed below to Ms. Lois Schroeder, The School of Hospitality Business, 645 N. Shaw Lane (Room 232 Eppley Center) before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017
