Welcome to The School’s advising system!
University policy requires each student to know the graduation requirements of his/her academic program and to make normal progress toward graduation. The degree requirements for the Hospitality Business major are stated in the University catalog. You can check your progress toward a degree by using Degree Navigator (DN), available at https://degnav.msu.edu/.
Because of the size of our undergraduate student population (~800) and other leadership roles they coordinate on behalf of The School, our advisers’ time is limited. When you schedule an appointment with an adviser, please be certain to have your questions and issues well organized so that your time with the adviser can be used most effectively.
Start scheduling an appointment by selecting a specific adviser or by specific date. The Adviser Information page will provide you more information about The School’s advisers. If you have already scheduled an appointment, you can view your scheduled and past appointments by entering your PID.
In order to accommodate as many students as possible, we will continue to offer Express Advising (walk-ins) on select days. Please check our website regularly for Express Advising days and times each week.
