Sally Smith is the chairperson of the National Restaurant Association and president and CEO of Buffalo Wild Wings. She will be speaking in two classes: HB 307 Hospitality Business Human Resources from 10:20 to 11:40 a.m. in room 115 of the International Center and also in HB 267 Food & Beverage Management from 12:40 to 2:00 p.m. in McDonel Hall C107. Attend one or both of these classes to meet and listen to Ms. Smith.  Sally Smith, president and chief executive officer of Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar, has served in that capacity since 1996. She formerly held the position of chief financial officer with the company. Ms. Smith began serving on the National Restaurant Association’s Board of Directors in 2002, and served as vice-chair prior to her current position as chairperson. She was named the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Midwest region and 2002 North Dakota Innovator of the Year. DESCRIPTION:Join us! Silent Auction begins at 5 p.m. and Live Auction begins at 6 p.m. -- in the Big Ten Rooms at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center.  Admission is $10 per person (MSU students are free). Complimentary food and beverage (non-alcoholic).  Net proceeds are divided between the student Hospitality Association and The School of Hospitality Business Alumni Association to support programs and clubs within both organizations. This year, the Auction is also donating to two local charities: the Junior League of Lansing and the MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts and Creativity at Wharton Center.
